Welcome to PT Works

We provide a wide array of services to meet the needs of orthopedic, neurological, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Our services include the treatment of a multiplicity of diagnoses including neck pain, back pain, vertigo, strokes, ankle sprains, knee pain, atheletic injuries, carpal tunnel, headaches, temporal mandibular joint dysfunctions (TMJ), rotator cuff pathology, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis and more. We also provide braces for wrists, knees, backs, and ankles to provide support, stability and promote healing.

We take pride in what we do and we work hard to consistently provide you with the level of care that epitomizes excellence. We deliver care that is based on evidence based practice. The owner has worked hard to pursue higher levels of education and has been involved in community service as well as an advocate for patients throughout her career. We feel confident that we will be able to assist our patients with reducing pain, improving function, as well as promote good health and facilitate referrals to other practitioners when indicated.

Teresa Bristol, PT, Cert. DN

Teresa Bristol received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2000. After graduating with honors she began working at Palmyra Regional Medical Center in Albany, GA. Since then she has worked in numerous settings including Industrial Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Early Intervention/Babies Can’t Wait and Outpatient Orthopedics. She specializes in dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular disorders as well as treating patients with neurological and orthopedic related problems.
